Jasmine Garsd is an Argentinian-American journalist. Based in New York, [1]she covers criminal justice and issues related to immigration for NPR. She also hosts The Last Cup/La Ultima Copa, a podcast in English and Spanish about Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi that examines identity, immigration, race and capitalism. [2]
Gsard co-founded NPR's Alt.Latino. Focused on Latinx culture and Latin alternative music, she co-hosted the program from 2010 through 2016. [3] [4]
